Utilvibe Calculator
Estimate your yearly carbon footprint from home electricity, transport, flights, diet, and waste. Use it as a practical planning tool to spot the inputs that matter most, compare your lifestyle with broad benchmarks, and build a reduction plan without sending personal data anywhere.
The calculator provides an estimate using common emissions accounting methods, including grid intensity assumptions and lifestyle emission factors. Results vary by exact utility mix, vehicle efficiency, travel distance, diet, and local waste handling.
Yes. Calculations happen in your browser. Your inputs are not sent to Utilvibe servers.
This metric compares your estimated lifestyle footprint with global biocapacity. It is a directional comparison, not an official personal audit.
Methodology & Trust
The calculator combines activity inputs with emissions factors: electricity use multiplied by a regional grid factor, car travel multiplied by vehicle fuel assumptions, flights estimated as annual round-trip impact, and diet/waste represented as lifestyle factors.
Assumptions are intentionally transparent and directional. The result is useful for comparing scenarios, but it is not a certified greenhouse gas inventory. For official reporting, use verified local emissions factors and professional accounting guidance.
Source basis: GHG Protocol-style activity-factor accounting, national or regional electricity-grid averages where available, and publicly documented climate assessment methods. IPCC AR7 is currently in progress, with its synthesis report expected after the working group reports, so this page avoids claiming completed AR7 data.
